Dr Alan Giles is an Emergency Physician and Medical Educator based in Sydney. He divides his time between working clinically and as the Director of the Hospital Skills program in SSWLHD and SLHD. He hosts the EMcast podcast and creates the “EM topics in 1 coffee” youtube video series. In medicine his interests are firmly in delivering excellent clinical care whilst using multimodal approaches to delivering education. Married with 2 adult children and 1 ageing cat he travels widely either volunteering or simply for pleasure. Despite starting multiple times he still cannot speak Spanish.
